The store will be fitted out to the latest M&S standards, incorporating modern technology such as self-checkouts, click and collect facilities and efficient stock management systems
Local Investment
The new store will create up to 120 local jobs, as well as supporting a range of roles across construction and local supply chain employment.
M&S takes pride in being one of the best retail employers in the UK with several apprenticeship, graduate and management training programmes alongside working with The Kings Trust through our Marks and Start employment scheme, offering training and work placements to young people and those at a disadvantage in their job hunt.

M&S is proud to support our suppliers and farmers across the UK. There are a number of local suppliers in North West London providing high quality products for M&S, with their combined operations supporting over 800 jobs.
M&S supports British Farming with over 9,500 Select Farm partners across the UK. The proposed new store will further strengthen our commitment to British Farming, bringing high quality, UK-produced food straight to customer shelves.
Community Benefits
Since 2015, M&S has worked in partnership with the redistribution platform Neighbourly across its store network to ensure that any edible food surplus is redistributed to local foodbanks and charitable organisations. Nationally, this partnership has helped redistribute the equivalent of over 100 million meals to those in need.
Within the London Borough of Hillingdon, through the Neighbourly partnership M&S has helped support 14 good causes between July 2016 and April 2025; redistributing the equivalent of 300,892 meals and supporting 4,205 people.
